Aamir Khan cemented his position in the top league of Bollywood in the last decade.

He started the last decade, as an actor-producer, with the blockbuster, 'Lagaan' (2001). Next came 'Dil Chahta Hai', which not only created a B.O. storm but also triggered a post-modern movie wave in Bollywood.

The path breaking 'Rang De Basanti' came next, creating another huge tsunami at the B.O. 'Fanaa' followed and though it was panned by critics, the producers danced all the way to the bank. His directorial debut 'Taare Zameen Par', with its thought provoking content, gained a special place in the audiences' mind.

'Ghajini' stormed the B.O., followed by the record-breaking '3 Idiots'. If one goes by the Registers, there is no competition to this Khan. He surely is the emperor of Indian Box Office!
