Molly Ringwald and Matthew Broderick introduced a montage of the late writer-director's best-loved films ("Sixteen Candles," "The Breakfast Club," "Ferris Bueller's Day Off") and shared their memories of Hughes who brilliantly captured what it was like to grow up in the '80s. Broderick even admitted: ''For the last 25 years, nearly every day, someone comes up to me, taps me on the shoulder, and says, 'Hey, Ferris, is this your day off?'''
