This three-hour epic is getting decidedly mixed reviews but Tom Hanks is still generating heat for his role in the Wachowski sci-fi. As with co-star Halle Berry, he plays six different characters in various degrees of make-up. And unlike co-star Halle Berry, he’s still pretty popular with the likes of the Academy. Yeah, so he’s no Daniel Day Lewis but you never know.
