Another quality blockbuster that deserves recognition from the Academy but whether it will is another matter. While there are campaigns to get Christopher Nolan’s final Batman film nominated for Best Picture, technical categories seem more certain. Nolan has long deserved the Best Director gong and let’s not forget Ms Cotillard puts in a great performance in this film too.
