The Best Film, Best Actor and Best Actress, Critics' Choice Awards all matched the eventual Oscar winners in 2007, with Martin Scorsese's The Departed, The Last King of Scotland's Forest Whitaker and The Queen star and perennial Academy Awards favourite Helen Mirren all winning the respective prizes.

One star who'll never be a perennial Academy Award favourite is Jennifer Aniston, who won the 2007 People's Choice Award for Favourite Female Movie Star, despite arguably being much better known for her TV work. The latest Pirates of the Caribbean film Dead Man's Chest and its star Johnny Depp (yes, him again) took home the Favourite Film and Favourite Male Movie Star prizes respectively.
