Another new award? Favourite Voice? Hmm. Certainly Christina Aguilera deserves to be recognized for her vocal accomplishments, but the whole concept seems like a reach, like it was concocted because Xtina refused to take the stage unless the producers came up with some kind of award for her. Her hearty thanks to show producer Mark Burnett only reinforces my conspiratorial thought processes.
