Speaking of accents, Damien Lewis brought his as he accepted the award for Best Actor in a TV Drama for Homeland, dedicating the award to his Mum. That's "Mum" and not "Mom" because it's different somehow. Homeland then went on to win the award for Best TV Drama, beating the likes of Breaking Bad (surprising) and The Newsroom (unsurprising). Swiftly following suit, fellow Brit Adele accepted the award for Best Original Song for Skyfall and "fanked" the foreign press in her trademark Sawf-East Landaaaan accent.
