For the musical portion of our show, the award for best original song went to Mandela’s “Ordinary Love,” as written and performed by U2. Meanwhile Alex Evert, Alex Heffes, Steven Price, John Williams and Hans Zimmer went head-to-head for best score in an original motion picture. Presenting the award was Diddy/Puff/Sean Combs who, upon handing the statute to Alex Ebert for All is Lost, asked, “Do you remember me? Dude we were just partying on a boat together in St. Barts!” Ahh, partying on a boat with Diddy in St. Barts, we’ve all been there right?
