Anna Faris was tasked with presenting the award for best pop duo/group performance, a mammoth category that included Daft Punk and Pharrell’s “Get Lucky,” Pink and Nate Ruess’ “Just Give Me a Reason,” Rihanna and Mikky Ekko’s “Stay,” Robin Thicke, T.I. and Pharrell’s “Blurred Lines” and Justin Timberlake and Jay Z’s “Suit & Tie.” With his name in the hat twice, Pharrell’s odds were ever in his favor as he and Daft Punk took home the gramophone for “Get Lucky.” “I’d like to thank everyone on behalf of the robots,” said Pharrell in jest to the signature helmets worn by his collaborators.
