Adhyayan grateful to Sajid for role in 'Himmatwala'

Mumbai: Adhyayan Suman will be reprising the role of Shakti Kapoor in the 'Himmatwala' remake and the actor is grateful to director Sajid Khan for choosing him for this big budget drama.
"It's not a small role, it's a big role. 'Himmatwala' is a big break for me. Of course, at the end of the day 'Himmatwala' is Ajay Devgn, Tamannaah and Sajid Khan's film. But I am honestly thankful and grateful that Sajid sir gave me an iconic role in such a big film that was played by Shakti Kapoor. I just hope people appreciate me in that. It's an out-an-out commercial film," the 24-year-old said in an interview.
In the 1983-hit Shakti Kapoor played the villain Shakti Gopaldas.
Meanwhile, Adhyayan is shooting for his father Shekhar Suman's directorial debut 'Heartless', a medical thriller and asserts that it is one of it's kind in Indian cinema.
"'Heartless' is one film which people have not seen and I guarantee that it's India's first medical thriller. The kind of things you are going to see in the film, an open-heart surgery and all," Adhyayan said.
"It's an extremely entertaining film and I am sure the album is going to be a hit. It's 90 percent complete, 10 percent is left," he added.
Adhyayan's next is 'Dehraadun Diary', hitting theatres on Friday. Directed by Milind Ukey, it also stars Ragini Nandwani and Rohit Bakshi.
