Arbaaz is a sensible guy: Salman Khan

Mumbai: Actor Salman Khan says his younger brother Arbaaz, who has produced as well as directed forthcoming film 'Dabangg 2', was well aware of his directorial work before he came to the sets and appreciates the fact that Arbaaz is "sensible".

"Arbaaz has been an assistant director, so he has been on the sets and he knows everything. So it was not like a new guy directing a movie," Salman said.

He says they also share a good professional relationship.

"The comfort between me and Arbaaz is great. We used to help each other out. As a storyteller, he is fantastic. Arbaaz is a very sensible guy," added Salman, who will be seen as Chulbul Pandey in 'Dabangg 2', releasing Friday.

The actor is also all praises for Sonakshi Sinha, his co-star in the movie. It was Salman who pushed Sonakshi into showbiz, and persuaded her to lose extra pounds as he knew her capability.

"When she entered the film industry, we all knew she was very talented. What she had to do was to lose her weight, which she did before joining the film industry. Of late, there were reports that she had put on little bit of weight again, but that was for 'Dabangg 2' as she plays a pregnant woman in the film," said Salman.

"She could not look like a model, she had to look like a (regular) housewife. So she had to look three to four months pregnant," he added.
