Why is 'Murder 3' closest to Mukesh Bhatt?

Varinder Chawla
" 'Murder 3' will release a day after Valentine's Day (Feb 15, 2013) and we are very eager to see how the audiences lap up the latest film in the 'Murder' franchise. The film is especially close to me since my son Vishesh makes his directorial debut with it," Mukesh Bhatt said in a statement.
Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt's Vishesh Films and Fox Star Studios have teamed up for the thriller, which also features Randeep Hooda and Aditi Rao Hydari. Penned by Amit Mansukar and Sanjay Mansoom, it narrates the tale of the unraveling of a mysterious disappearance.
Mahesh Bhatt is confident "'Murder 3' will take the 'Murder' brand into another league. It will give it the halo of 'respectability'."
The past films in the franchise - 'Murder' (2004) and 'Murder 2' (2011), fared well at the box office.
"'Murder' and 'Murder 2' had made a splash at the box office and with the third offering, we aim to raise the bar," said Vijay Singh, CEO, Fox Star Studios India
