Regular exercise effective: Milind Soman

Varinder Chawla
Mumbai: Milind Soman does not believe in gym workouts and asserts that regular exercise is most effective to keep fit.
At 47, he is fit as a fiddle.
"The most effective way to exercise is be regular. Regular and consistent exercise helps more than going to gym, giving money and having a personal trainer. Wherever you are, whether you are at home, ground or on roads, all you need is a little time - be it 15 minutes, 20 minutes and if you have an hour, then it will be much better," said Milind.
He spoke at a press conference for Pinkathon 2012, a women's marathon to be held on December 16.
Bipasha Basu, who was also present at the event, supports the marathon, which is primarily meant to create awareness about breast cancer.
"It's a very good cause because it's a women's marathon, which is exclusive. Here, women won't feel pressurised that men are running, so, it's only ladies and it's to create awareness about breast cancer," said Bipasha.
