Madhur Bhandarkar on break from direction

Filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar, whose last directorial venture was 'Heroine', is spending time away from work.

Mumbai: Post 'Heroine', Madhur Bhandarkar says he is on a break from direction.

"I am on a break right now. I am only visiting different places and busy attending film festivals. I usually take a break after each film because it is a little tiring. So, I need a break right now," Bhandarkar told us.

So what is keeping him occupied during his break?

"I am busy attending many weddings and other things. So I am enjoying my break time," said the acclaimed film-maker.

Asked if he has any new script in mind, he said: "Nothing right now. I will decide what to do only next year. Till then I am not even thinking of anything."

Bhandarkar is known for making realistic films including 'Page 3', 'Fashion', 'Corporate' and 'Heroine'.
