Sonakshi talks 'Himmatwala' item song

Varinder Chawla
Mumbai: She loves dancing on energetic numbers and Sonakshi Sinha, who proved her skills with the song "Govinda" in 'Oh My God!', is looking forward to her item number in Sajid Khan's 'Himmatwala' which she starts shooting Sunday.
"I am going to do an item number for Sajid Khan's 'Himmatwala'. We will start shooting for the song from tomorrow (Sunday). I really do enjoy dancing. I am really looking forward to it," Sonakshi told reporters.
"Mine is a very different song. It is a 1980s disco number and I am really looking forward to it," she added.
However, she clarified that it is not her father's song.
"No, it's not my father's song. It will be a completely new song."
The actress, who also performed at the Colors Screen Awards, says it is not easy to perform on energetic songs on stage.
"I am thankful, I have got some really nice songs to perform on. I enjoy performing on stage as well. But once you actually perform on the stage, you get a little nervous because each and every song are of real high energy," she said.
