Prabhu Deva ecstatic over 'ABCD' success
Mumbai: Actor-filmmaker Prabhu Deva is happy with the initial response to 'ABCD - AnyBody Can Dance' and gives full credit to director Remo D'Souza and producers UTV Motion Pictures.
"I am happy for Remo and the boys and girls who danced in the film and also acted. Remo and the team really gave life to the film, and UTVm because they made the film big. Full credit goes to Remo and UTV," the 39-year-old said here Friday at an apparel store.
Prabhu Deva, who is not new to the Rs.100 crore club, says he never worries about the economics bit of filmmaking.
"As a director, I don't go into the money part. The tension is there when the edit is finished and it is going to the theatres. Of course as a director, people should like it. But about money... I don't go into that thing," he said.
Prabhu Deva is currently working in 'Ramaiya Vastavaiya' with Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan in the lead.
His other films include 'Rambo Rajkumar', starring Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, and two untitled projects.
One stars Ajay Devgn and Deepika Padukone, and the other has Arshad Warsi and Sonakshi.
