Siddharth to show his funny side

Mumbai: Indian actor Siddharth, best remembered for his intense performance in popular Bollywood flick 'Rang De Basanti', will be venturing into the comedy zone for the first time with director David Dhawan's 'Chashme Buddoor’.
The 33-year-old played the role of Karan Singhania in the 2006 movie, directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra and later appeared in 2010 in 'Striker' which bombed at the box office.
Now he will appear in the remake of 1981 classic that starred actress Dipti Naval and Farooq Sheikh.
The new installment will also see Pakistani actor-singer Ali Zafar and Divyendu Sharma of 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' fame.
South Indian actress Tapasee, will be making her Bollywood debut with this film, which will hit cinema houses on April 5.
Siddharth was last seen in acclaimed director Deepa Mehta's latest film 'Midnight's Children'.
