Yana Gupta makes a comeback into the item number scene with the song "Eh Babu Ankhein Chaar Kar Lo".

Yana returns with another 'Babu'

After scorching the screen on item numbers in Bollywood films like 'Dum', 'Rakht', 'Chalo Dilli', 'Murder 2', Yana Gupta will now be grooving to the hot item number in the film 'Soni De Nakhare!'

The former model will dance on the song "Eh Babu Ankhein Chaar Kar lo", composed by Raj Ashu and sung by Sunidhi Chauhan. The song has been choreographed by Jayesh Pradhan, who has also choreographed songs for 'Aarakshan' and 'Turning 30'.

Directed by Viki Kharat, 'Soni De Nakhare' is produced by Anantkumar Gupta. The film is also the Hindi directorial debut of Viki Kharat, who has earlier directed Marathi films like 'Bhaucha Dhakka' and 'Thamb Lakshmi Kunku Lavate'. Kharat says, "The reason we decided to cast Yana is because just like her earlier item song, Babuji zara dheere chalo, Eh Babu Ankhein Chaar Kar lo is very a peppy song and she perfectly fits in the role."

He adds, "It's a comedy film about a Punjabi and a Gujarati family, who are constantly bickering with each other." While actor Anuj Sawhney is playing the male lead, the female lead is played by Sheena Shabadhi, daughter of yesteryears actor Sadhana Singh who was the lead opposite Sachin Pilgaonkar in the film 'Nadiya Ke Paar'. "It is an out and out comedy film. When the two families from two different regions, culture, traditions and food habits come together and fight over various issues, a lot of comedy happens," says Kharat.

Shammi Kapoor's son, Aditya Raj Kapoor, will play the role of the heroine's father and Gargi Patel will be seen in her mother's role. The film has two heroes and Kartar Singh ('Tere Naal Love Ho Gaya' fame) is playing the second lead. 'Soni De Nakhare' will be released in July.
