For young celebs, there is no time for love!
Bollywood's GenNow -- Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor, Sonakshi Sinha, Anushka Sharma, Imran Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, Abhay Deol, Ranveer Singh -- have time and again dismissed any notions of being romantics.
Imran is quick to dissociate himself from being a romantic. "I never see myself as a romantic person. I believe I'm a practical person. You know the idea people have of romance, the grand gestures -- it's all wallpaper, looks lovely, but it's not going to hold your house up," says the actor who married his sweetheart Avantika last year.
He maybe the new 'K'upid in town, but Ranbir is dismissive of the idea of having a day for love. "I don't believe in Valentine's Day. I love my mum, my dad, my sister, my friends... Love has more forms to be celebrated in, so why narrow it down to this day?" he had earlier said.
Sonam, too, has been quite vocal about not celebrating Valentine's Day in the past. Ditto for Anushka who finds the idea cliched. "I don't believe in chocolates, gifts, candle-light dinner et al. I would hit a boy if he treated me like that. I can be wooed with good conversation. If I can have fun with him and laugh with him, I am hooked."
Ranveer has been constantly linked to Anushka, but he has vehemently denied it saying, "I am here to do good work and that is it. I don't have time for love. Right now, I can't think about anything else but work. Love can happen later as well."
So much for being the loved up boys and girls of the Bollywood screen!
