John sports beard for 'Madras Cafe'

Mumbai: John Abraham sports a beard these days. The new look is for his next production 'Madras Cafe', in which he also plays the lead.
"This look that I have is for my next production after 'Vicky Donor'. It is called 'Madras Cafe'. It is being directed by Shoojit Sircar and produced by us. We are very excited! People like it, so I am sporting it," the 40-year-old said at a press conference.
'Madras Cafe' also stars Nargis Fakhri and John plays an Indian intelligence agent in the film.
Asked about his views on the recent killing of two Indian soldiers, John said: "I cannot comment on that, except saying it is a sad thing. People are dying for us and we have people in our own country who are fighting wars on religion."
"The worst thing is that we are fighting political battles only on religion while there our jawans (soldiers) are dying. So it is really sad, shameful and I hope every citizen really stands up against this," he added.
