Narmada still waiting for right script: Govinda
Mumbai: Govinda's daughter Narmada's Bollywood debut has always been the talk of the town, but nothing materialised. The veteran actor says she is still waiting for the right script to come her way.
"Whenever anything is announced, I will let you know, we should not talk about it now. It is not like she has not been offered any films. In fact, she has refused 20-22 films," the 48-year-old said at the unveiling of first Bright awards.
"We used to grab any opportunity we got. But she is waiting for what she wants and once she does I will let you know," he added.
Meanwhile, Govinda is happy and satisfied with the respect bestowed on him in the film industry.
"I feel respect is good, be it in the form of awards or rewards. Sometimes you are famous, sometimes you earn more. Whichever way you get it, it is good and to keep getting respect is important. Whatever you get, accept it," Govinda said.
"I don't feel that I have got less awards. I am just happy that there are so few stars and I am one of them. If I start thinking and asking for more, then that is not right. I am successful is enough," he added.
Govinda has recently lent his voice for a character in 3D animated film 'Delhi Safari'.
