Aamir and Imran not to team up for 'Peekay'
However, according to sources close to the project, there were talks with Imran regarding 'Peekay'. His screen test was also supposed to happen. Aamir Khan and Anushka Sharma have been finalised for the movie.
Earlier Aamir had cast Imran in his home production 'Jaane Tu Yaa Jaane Na' and 'Delhi Belly' which placed Imran among top rung actors in the industry.
"We haven't approached Imran. He is busy with his film 'Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai 2' and there is no discussion at all," a spokesperson said.
It was also being speculated that when Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh didn't show much interest in the role, Aamir had suggested Imran's name.
