'Race 2' to hit screens Nov 2012

Director duo Abbas-Mustan and producer Ramesh Taurani of Tips zeroed in on the release date of the film after several discussions.

"'Race 2' releases November 30 next year. We felt it was just the right date to release our film," Taurani said in a press statement.

The sequel went on floors earlier this year, and the first schedule of the movie was wrapped up in Mumbai on Monday. Starring Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Anil Kapoor and Ameesha Patel, the film will definitely be something to watch out for, says Abbas.

"'Race 2' is in the same genre and will be made on as grand a scale as the original. We will be shooting in Turkey and Cyprus next. The story has plenty of twists and turns and every character will have grey shades," he said.

The film is a multi-starrer and if sources from the sets are to be beleived, the shooting went off quite smoothly.

"The entire cast of the film are very excited and are putting in their best efforts to make 'Race 2' bigger than the original," said the source.
