'Ajab Prem Ki..', a roller coaster fun ride!

Rajkumar Santoshi has changed lanes. Known for intense, hard-hitting movies [with the sole exception of ANDAZ APNA APNA], Santoshi now attempts a rom-com in AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI, his new endeavour. That's something we all know by now, right?

ut not many of us know that Santoshi is equally at home handling a comedy. And AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI proves it.

If you're attempting a rom-com, you need to get a few things right...

One, the romance should be livewire. Ditto for the chemistry between the on-screen pair.

Two, the film should make you laugh. As simple as that!

In AJAB PREM KI GHAZAB KAHANI, the romantic moments are endearing. Most importantly, the on-screen chemistry is electrifying. Ranbir and Katrina look great together!

To enjoy this movie, you have to be either brain dead or have a totally MORBID sense of humor. I am neither, and I hated the movie from the word go. A huge fan of both Ranbir and Katrina, my disappointment in their performance is to say the least, HUGE! I don't understand how a reputed director who gave us Andaz Apna Apna, Ghayal, Damini and other note worthy movies can slip to something so meaningless and filled with utter nonsense and forced humor. What is more baffling is how critics like Taran Adarsh gives it an excellent rating. I am sure his pockets have been lined with enough rupees for a life time already. Perhaps even more baffling is how it ends up being a BIG HIT!

There is nothing about the movie or the performances that stands out. For once Ranbir HAMS TO THE HILT! After a praiseworthy performance in Wake Up Sid, my expectations were quite high for him. Totally disappointing. Same with Katrina - after an award winning performance in New York - THIS GARBAGE!

Wake up people! You make this movie a Huge Hit and Wake Up Sid and Semi Hit? That indicates that the Aam Junta's taste has not changed from the time the filmmakers used to churn out meaningless and absolutely stupid movies in the guise of comedy movies and people made them big hits!

ranbier and katrina chemistry is very gud....

songs are good and katrina looks hot :)

it disappointed me........its a crap.......no solid story line.......forced comedy sequences.......I liked "all the best" instead.......even do knot disturb had more beautifully executed scenes.......
