Malaika Arora Khan
Born to a Malayali mother and Punjabi father, Malaika Arora Khan has been in the entertainment industry ever since she joined MTV as a VJ. Her delicate bone structure and perfect derriere made her the first choice of filmmakers who wanted to film a deadly damsel dancing atop a moving train!
In 1998, after a five-year courtship, Malaika got married to superstar Salman Khan's brother, Arbaaz Khan. The couple had a Christian ceremony where the bride wore a white gown, as well as an Islamic nikaah where she wore a traditional saree. In 2003, they had a son called Arhaan.
Around the same time Malaika started appearing in films in special item songs. Her first song was the wildly popular train top song 'Chaiya Chaiya', along with Shahrukh Khan in Mani Ratnam's 'Dil Se'.
In 2005, Malaika started appearing on the television dance competition 'Nach Baliye' as a judge. Along with her comments and advice, people also used to look forward to seeing what the sexy judge would wear every week. She can now be seen as a judge on the reality show 'Lux Perfect Bride'.
In 2008, rumours concerning Arbaaz and Malaika's split began to do the round. Just when everyone thought the beautiful couple were heading for a divorce, it was revealed that it was all for the brand promotion of a skincare product.
