Aamir was the nation's favourite Family Man, when he dropped the bomb in December, 2002. He divorced "Bachpan ka sathi" Reena Dutta. They had married in the year that saw the release of Aamir's debut film 'Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak'. Aamir went on to marry Kiran Rao, who was an assistant director to Ashutosh Gowariker during the 'Lagaan' days. Reena took custody of the children, Junaid and Ira.
