Acting great reaches a milestone birthday

Oscar winner and cinema great Michael Caine celebrates his 80^th birthday today. Born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite on 14 March, 1933 in Southwark, London, Caine went on to become one of film’s most enduring – and most imitated - stars through appearances in the likes of Alfie, The Italian Job and Get Carter, and he remains one of Britain’s most recognisable performers to this day.
