'Jail', directed by Madhur Bhandarkar, stars Neil Nitin Mukesh, Mugdha Godse and Manoj Bajpai in pivotal roles. It tells the story of one Parag Dixit (Neil Nitin Mukesh) who lands in jail due to some unexpected events in his life. Mugdha Godse plays his wife, Mansi.
That Neil Nitin appears nude in the film had caused quite a furore, recently. Bhandarkar justifies it saying that the scene "is very much neessary".
Sharib Toshi and Shamir Tandon compose music for the film.
