OSAKA, JAPAN: K-pop fans braved the chilling winter weather for hours here in Osaka for a glimpse of their favourite Korean artistes before the 26th Golden Disk Awards took place at the Kyocera Dome.
On the first day of the prestigious event - regarded as 'The Korean Grammys' - K-pop's biggest names like Jay Park, Super Junior, KARA, A Pink, BEAST and f(x) among others were spotted making an appearance on the red carpet. Other artistes spotted include MBLAQ, Dal Shabet, B1A4, Rainbow, Infinite and CN Blue.
The 26th Golden Disk Awards are held over two days - January 11th and 12th - and honours the best in the industry for the highest album sales.
This year's Golden Disk Awards are being held in Japan for the first time to assist in recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake.
