Authorities in Los Angeles have reported that British-born Hollywood director Tony Scott has died after jumping from a bridge. The Los Angeles County Coroner's office told BBC news that Scott's death was being investigated as suicide.

The 68 year old found fame after directing Hollywood hits 'Days of Thunder', 'Top Gun' and 'Crimson Tide'.
