'Maattrraan' will be released on October 12

Tamil action thriller 'Maattrraan', which features Suriya in the role of conjoined twins, will hit the screens worldwide on October 12 in over 1,400 theatres.

'Maattrraan' will be released in Telugu too and Suriya has for the first time dubbed in Telugu for the film along with his younger brother Karthi.

"It is a very emotional family entertainer and it will explore a sensitive relationship between two brothers who play conjoined twins," Suriya said at an event recently.

Directed by K V Anand, 'Maattrraan' also stars Kajal Aggarwal, Vivek, Sachin Khedekar, Tara, Ajay Ratnam, Ravi Prakash, Shankar Krishnamurthy, Sharad and Krishnamoorthy.
