Scott continued his sci-fi roll in the same year with Blade Runner, his futuristic view of Los Angeles, starring Harrison Ford and Rutger Hauer. Based on the Phillip K Dick novel, Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, this visually stunning film has become a cult classic - despite taking over a decade to make a profit (it was a dud when it was first released).
