The Golden Globe nominations give movie fans one of the biggest early indications as to who will be in the running for the Oscars, and this year is no exception. One of the most hotly-contested categories is for Best Picture (Drama). Ben Affleck's hostage thriller Argo will compete against Steven Spielberg's historical blockbuster Lincoln, Quentin Tarantino's Django Unchained, Ang Li's Life of Pi and Oscar-winner Kathryn Bigelow's Zero Dark Thirty, about the US military's efforts to capture or kill Osama Bin Laden.
