Bobby Cannavale (Boardwalk Empire)
Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad)
Aaron Paul (Breaking Bad)
Jim Carter (Downton Abbey)
Peter Dinklage (Game Of Thrones)
Mandy Patinkin (Homeland)

Who should win? Jonathan Banks

Who will win? Mandy Patinkin

Why? This is one of the tightest categories to pick a winner. We could easily make a strong case for most, if not all, of the nominees. We would love to see Jonathan Banks score an Emmy for his wonderful portrayal of the grizzled career criminal Mike Ehrmantraut but his nod feels like a “just happy to nominated” situation. If Banks is out, then we’d be almost as stoked if Aaron Paul repeated as winner but Patinkin will probably ride the Homeland wave that is sweeping all awards. To be fair, he’s usually the best thing on the show.
