John F Kennedy on film through the years
November 22 marks the 50th anniversary of the death of American president John F Kennedy, who was assassinated in Dallas, Texas by sniper Lee Harvey Oswold.
One of the States' most beloved politicians, JFK has been immortalised many times in movies by different actors, including Martin Sheen, Patrick Dempsey, and most recently, Rob Lowe in National Geographic's new TV movie Killing Kennedy.
Another new film based around the death of the iconic president is Parkland, featuring Zac Efron, Paul Giamatti and Tom Welling. The movie focuses on the chaos that ensued at Dallas' Parkland hospital on that November day back in 1963.
