1973's Live and Let Die saw John Barry take a temporary hiatus from the Bond series, which led to Beatles producer George Martin collaborating with Paul McCartney and Wings on the bombastic title track. Since covered by Guns 'n' Roses, the song was the first 'true' rock 'n' roll Bond theme and is still a highlight of McCartney's live shows. It's notable for its pseudo-reggae middle eight and McCartney uttering the gramatically incorrect phrase 'But if this ever changing world in which we live in'.
