Elton John’s adoration of sequins and Liberace is commendable, but it’s only his second love that gets a dedicated song performed at the Emmys. Singing his new track, “Home Again” (taken from The Diving Board) John paid homage to Liberace’s passing 25 years ago, though his sparkly suit (emblazoned with “Fantastic!”) was the better of the two tributes. Plus, he knew we all really wanted to hear “Crocodile Rock,” right?
