Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker didn't get along while making Sex and the City despite playing best friends on screen, and word has it that during filming of the first movie, production almost screeched to a halt due to tension between the two co-stars.

An insider on the set said: "By the end of the TV series they could barely be civil to each other. But both women are top professionals and won't let this get in the way of their jobs."
