If you're a fan of Larry David's comedy then you'll know he's not one to tentatively throw around "Knock, knock" or "Your mother" jokes. To the contrary, Larry David opts for a much more divisive comedic skit, often finding himself in bizarre situations us regular folk wouldn't dare approach -- when was the last time you picked up a "lady of the night" to use the car pool lane? Anyway, on one episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm, Larry David infuriated the Catholic League when he urinated on a Jesus painting hanging on the bathroom wall of his pious assistant. With so much backlash generated over the episode, HBO hastily released a statement: "Anyone who follows Curb Your Enthusiasm knows that the show is full of parody and satire. Larry David makes fun of everyone, most especially himself. The humor is always playful and certainly never malicious."
