And the nominees were:

Glenn Close in "Albert Nobbs"
Viola Davis in "The Help"
Rooney Mara in "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"
Meryl Streep in "The Iron Lady"
Tilda Swinton in "We Need to Talk About Kevin"

Although severely underdressed, Meryl Streep deserved her award for playing Margaret Thatcher in "The Iron Lady." And how classy to recognize virtually all of her competitors. And nice shout-out to "The Punisher" Harvey Weinstein, "The Iron Lady's" producer. Personally, we think Tilda Swinton deserves an award for her Bowie-esque hair alone.
