“We don’t say that in America.” - Bieber’s response when a New Zealand talk show host asked what his last name meant in German (the pop star was even shown the interviewer’s card with the word G-word on it).  

After the star became the butt of IQ jokes, Bieber quickly defended himself on Twitter, insisting he thought the interviewer said “Jewman” instead of “German” and linking to a video as proof he knew what the word meant. “Old interview where I count in GERMAN and translate my own name. Guess I know what German is,” he wrote.
