Terminally typecast actors
The bumbling English chap

Sure Hugh Grant has demonstrated little in the way of range, but his niche has proven extremely profitable for a floppy-haired womanizer. Best known for his work in rom-coms such as 'Four Weddings and a Funeral', 'Notting Hill' and 'Bridget Jones' Diary', Grant is always gentlemanly, mostly middle-class, sometimes lost for words, and usually able to charm the pants off of any girl (especially an American one). It's a hard life and Grant blames only himself for his typecasting: 'My sudden success with 'Four Weddings...' made me think, 'Oh everyone likes me being that bumbly person,'' he told Total Film.
