Justin Bieber claimed the evening's first award: Social Artist of the Year. Taking the stage to the requisite squeals and screams, the Stratford, Ontario-native seemed poised to deliver a heartfelt speech about what it's like to grow up before our eyes but quickly aborted that to thank the usual suspects: his manager Scooter Braun, Usher, his mom, his dad and God. "I wanna thank all my fans because the internet is where I got my start and all my fans have helped me get to this position," he added.
