Zhang Ziyi

Award-winning international Chinese star Zhang Ziyi is caught in some very malicious rumours; she's been accused of sleeping with high-powered Chinese politicians, including disgraced politician Bo Xilai, in exchange for money.

Reports claim the actress received more than RMB10 million (about RM5 million) from her relations with Bo over the past few years.

Ziyi vehemently denies the allegations and has plans to sue 'Apple Daily' newspaper, the Hong Kong publication that first ran the story. While the actress wants an apology, the paper is believed to be sticking to its reports.
