The phrase 'drop dead gorgeous' is much overused. But while it's very accurate for Olivia, it only scratches the surface of her charms. This is a lady who grew up surrounded by intellectuals such as Salman Rushdie, the US diplomat Richard Holbrooke, author Christopher Hitchens (who was her babysitter) and, erm, Mick Jagger.

Yet more amazingly, Olivia is a lifelong friend of Steven Spielberg and even credits him for encouraging her to tread the boards, when he wrote 'if you want to be a doctor, look before you leap; if you want to act, leap before you look'. Anyone who follows that kind of advice simply has to be smart.
