She's been trying desperately to shed her Hannah Montana skin in favour of a sexier adult image, but not only has the effort backfired musically, but Miley Cyrus' latest film LOL was a colossal box office bomb, coming in dead last on opening weekend. Her performance in 2010's The Last Song was also panned by the critics. The 19-year-old certainly isn't the first celebrity who couldn't bridge the gap between child star and adult actor and she certainly won't be the last. This may explain the rush to become Mrs. Liam Hemsworth.
