Edward Furlong starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'Terminator 2: Judgement Day' at the age of 13 - for which he won the Saturn Award for Best Performance by a Younger Actor and the MTV Movie Award for Best Breakthrough Performance. After his successful performance in 'America History X', he suffered with repeated drug addictions. Telling WENN, he said, 'I was a nice little kid. Hollywood f**ked me up, man! Lots of money and lots of free coke will turn anyone into a cokehead. I was a heroin and cocaine addict. It was really scary. The first year of quitting is the hardest thing I've ever had to do, physically and mentally.'

In 2006, Furlong told People magazine he smoked two to three packets of cigarettes a day and admitted to being addicted to cocaine and heroin from the age of 22 to 26. Furlong has since returned to acting in minor roles, such as Seth Rogan's 2011 film 'The Green Hornet'.
