Naseeruddin Shah

The veteran actor is best remembered for his role as fun-loving teacher Amar Verma in 'Sir', who was more of a friend to his students and goes out of the way to help them in difficult times. This was one of the best performances of Naseer's career. Another memorable role of his career is that of a former cricketer Mohit in the film 'Iqbal', who takes up the task of training a deaf and mute boy named Iqbal.
