Perhaps the most mainstream of all the snobby shows on our list, 'The Good Wife' is a highly lauded legal and political drama about life behind the juicy headlines. The series has followed Alicia Florrick's journey from mortified political wife to sexy, single legal power player, while also diving into love triangles, office romances and politics, and political maneuvering and rebirth. Led by Emmy darling Julianna Margulies, the series has nabbed four Emmys since 2010 and boasts seven nominations this year.
