Fantasy series don't often break into the mainstream realm, but the mystical world of 'Game of Thrones' is just too extraordinary for the world to ignore. The epic drama about power, politics, honour and family features sweeping landscapes, gorgeous costumes and deliciously conflicted characters, along with a dose of sex and violence. 'Game of Thrones' is up for 11 Emmys this year, including Outstanding Drama and a nomination for 2011's Supporting Actor winner Peter Dinklage.
